The fire rig is a high capacity fire figthing solution made to effectively prepare for, attacking and mopping up wildfires in uncultivated areas and demanding terrain.
Equipped with a high-capacity water cannon with a throw length up to 60 and adjustable throw angle, fires can be attacked from safe distances. A firewater manifold with up to three separate water outlets can be connected to external fire hoses. The fire rig is highly mobile and can easily be transported on suitable vehicles like a load carrier or timber truck to the affected area.
The tank allows the fire rig to bring large amounts of water into the terrain. Water can also easily be collected from local water sources over great lengths with an hose outlay that enables continuous replenishment of the tank.

The fire rig can also be delivered as a modular model. The rig is rigged with different modules such as air compressor for bottling filling, fan, tank with extinguishing agents such as foam

Fritzøe Skoger experinced several forest fires during the 2018 drought. This created capacity challenges for forest owners, fire brigades and civil defence. When Halo SB AS showed us its full-rigged fire rig, both Fritzøe Skoger, the fire brigade and the county emergency preparedness at the County Governor of Vestfold and Telemark saw a significant capacity increase for both emergency preparedness, fire and after-extinguishing. The extinguishing rig is therefore an investment we are making with a light heart for strengthened forest fire preparedness, in a country that is affected more and more by climate change and dry summers.
